Maked superhero dog on lookout

Date: Saturday, June 6
Time: 1PM-4PM

It is time again for Bear Valley’s annual open house! Each year, we open our doors for a day of fun activities, delicious food and great giveaways for our patients and their families. All attendees will automatically be entered into the Free Pet Care For a Year drawing, winner to be announced later this year!

Open House Features
This year, the event theme is “be your pet’s superhero”. There will be an owner/pet superhero costume contest, so get your best outfits together for you and your favorite sidekick! The winners will be selected from the individuals and duos with the most imaginative and fun costumes.

The Denver Police Department will be onsite conducting K9 Unit demonstrations showcasing how they use highly trained dogs to seek out and identify hazardous materials like drugs and explosives to keep our community safe.

Other events include a doggie kissing booth, pooper scooper races and photos with Captain America!

We will be accepting donations for cats and dogs at the Denver Municipal Animal Shelter. Items needed are blankets, towels, toys, food, and any other pet related items.

Learn how to be a great pet owner! Our pet education booth to teach you important pet health and safety tips. This year the focus is on early detection through blood work and testing as well as Heartworm prevention and treatment.

Food and drinks will be provided.

This event is all-ages and pet-friendly, so bring the whole family! The Bear Valley team is looking forward to seeing everyone. Thank you for another great year.
